FASHIONISTA...TEACHER- THE BALANCE
Being a teacher in the Nigerian civil service and being fashionable while at it.. isn't the easiest thing to do!😰
There are a lot of restrictions like...
1. Short skirts aren't allowed.. (so you have to wear skirts way below your knees... and if you do wear one that settles on your knees.... you gotta be tricky about it😉)
2. Your workwear should be as conservative as possible (not an easy feat.. you have to agree😐)
3. No cleavage or any *distractions*
4. Your clothes must have sleeves... sleeveless shirts/dresses are frowned out ( even when our offices don't have air-conditioning and the weather gets pretty hot ALL the time! 😐)
The restrictions go on and on!
However, some of us have (almost) found the balance between being fashionable without being too unattractive (lol)...
So today... it's an animal print chiffon gown, black toepost sandals (courtesy of +ASOS ). .. not too short..
Orange lipstick.. (my boss didn'tapprove😕)
